David Barksdale named CEO of Piedmont Federal Bank

Winston-Salem, NC – August 26, 2019 – Piedmont Federal Savings Bank announced that David P. Barksdale has been named its new Chief Executive Officer effective September 16, 2019. Barksdale succeeds Mike Hauser, who has served as interim CEO since the retirement of Ric Wagner in May.

Barksdale has an extensive background as a leader in the financial services industry. His roles have included leadership in retail and commercial banking, financial strategy and credit administration. He was the former President and CEO of Carolina Premier Bank in Charlotte, NC. Most recently he worked for First Reliance Bank as the North Carolina President and Chief Lending Officer.
