Josh Hanes named senior commercial banker
for Piedmont Federal Bank

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (February xx, 2026) – Josh Hanes, who has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, has been named a senior commercial banker at Piedmont Federal Bank.

Hanes will work out of Piedmont Federal Bank’s main office on Stratford Road in Winston-Salem.

In his new position with Piedmont Federal Bank, Hanes will be responsible for the development of new client relationships and maintaining existing client relationships by calling on businesses, professional groups to develop new loan and deposit relationships.

Almost the entirety of Hanes’ career had been spent in the Piedmont Triad area. Most recently Hanes was a senior vice president at Bank OZK in Winston-Salem, where he was responsible for a $48 million loan portfolio and a $32 million deposit portfolio.

Hanes, a Davie County native, holds a bachelor of science in business management operations from North Carolina State University.
